How I Used Feedly to Find My New Home – Feedly Blog

Since shifting to LA a number of years in the past, I’ve had fairly the journey of leaping from home to home. About a month in the past, it got here time for me to lastly discover a place and set some down some roots. And so started the hunt for the proper home…

As with most massive cities, discovering a home in a very good location, fairly priced, and earlier than anybody else will be an ordeal. So so as to hack this course of, I did what I knew finest – used my Feedly after all!

Here’s how:

  1. I began by going to the Craigslist “Apartments & Housing” part
  2. Next I set my filters
    • I searched for two bed room residences inside a 5 mile radius of my zipcode at my very best worth level then hit search
  3. I scrolled to the underside of the web page (with the filters set) and on the backside proper nook there was an orange RSS button. I clicked the button and it routinely despatched me to the RSS URL, so I copied that URL

     4. Once I copied the RSS URL, I went to the Add Content part of my Feedly and underneath the web sites tab, I pasted the URL

     5. Last I clicked “follow” and added it to a brand new feed, which I titled “House Hunt”

Once I created a housing feed in my Feedly account, I was in a position to test in every day and see what new properties had been posted. It conveniently confirmed me the variety of new posts on my left aspect panel so I all the time knew when new gadgets had been added to the feed. And by utilizing the ability of my boards, I was in a position to save my favorites in a single organized and handy place so I might test again in when I was scheduling appointments.

After just some weeks I was in a position to discover the proper place and dwell fortunately ever after 🙂
