A four-month-old boy allegedly kidnapped from the government-run SMS Hospital in Jaipur was rescued from the Mansarovar space on Saturday and the accused was arrested, police mentioned.
Ten police groups comprising greater than 100 personnel had been engaged for 4 days seeking the child, Divyansh, mentioned Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Ajaypal Lamba.
The accused, Hemendra alias Raju (29), a resident of Bharatpur, has been arrested. He was dwelling in a rented lodging within the Mansarovar space, the police officer mentioned.
The child was allegedly kidnapped from the hospital on Wednesday and the police had introduced a reward of Rs 5,000 to catch the accused.
According to the police, a household had come to the hospital from Dausa for the remedy of their youngster. The youngster was admitted to a hospital ward whereas his 4-month-old brother was accompanied by his mom and grandparents.
On Wednesday night, the kid’s grandparents had been having dinner within the SMS Hospital premises and the 4-month-old boy was mendacity close by.
Taking the chance, the accused allegedly kidnapped the child, the police mentioned.
